Delete your account

Delete it yourself, in about ten seconds

This is the fastest way, and it takes effect immediately.

1. In the mobile app, open the Profile tab, then Settings.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is gone straight away.

On the web, the same control is at asserthired.com/settings.

If you no longer have the app

You do not need to reinstall anything. Email asserthired@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm once it is done, within 30 days and usually much sooner.

Write from the address on the account if you can. If you cannot, tell us the address you used and we will verify it another way before deleting anything, because we will not delete an account on the word of someone who cannot show it is theirs.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and it is not recoverable. There is no grace period, and we cannot restore an account once it is gone. It removes:

• Your account, profile, and sign-in credentials
• Every mock interview, transcript, score, and feedback report
• Course progress, exam results, and certificates
• Saved jobs, applications, resumes, cover letters, and portfolio entries
• Verified Assessment results and any public passport page
• Drill history, skill lab work, and community activity
• Support tickets and referral records
• Your contact record on our mailing list, so the newsletter stops

Any active subscription is cancelled at the same time, and your customer record with our payment processor is removed. You will not be billed again.

What we have to keep

Billing and tax records, where the law requires us to keep them. Those sit with our payment processor and cover the payment itself, such as the amount, the date, and the last four digits of the card. They do not contain your interviews, your answers, or anything you produced in the app.

Residual copies can also sit in encrypted backups for a short period after deletion. Those are purged within 90 days and are never used to bring an account back.

We may also keep anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be traced back to you or to any individual. Our Privacy Policy sets out retention in full.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing AssertHired from your phone does not delete your account. Your data stays until you use one of the paths above.
